Hello
Studio
Gurr
I'm Connor Gravelle, Nice to Meet You :)
I'm reaching out to begin a dialogue
with the hope you might be interested
in my proposal and my perspective.
A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME:
I am a:
Independent Brand Designer
w/ 6+ years of experience building Brands.
Recent Graduate
of the SVA MPS Branding Program, Class of 2024.
And AIGA CT Board Member.
I DOUBT YOU REMEMBER THIS...
But in 2021, David participated in an Emerging Professionals Workshop with AIGA CT, where he reviewed my portfolio.

My work was ‘okay’...

But David showed me the respect
of an honest portfolio review.
Interrogating my Language.
Questioning my Execution.
AND WHILE IT MIGHT HAVE BEEN HARD TO HEAR,
It's something I'm grateful for to this day.
That is how the best work is made, right?
Since then I've followed your studio,

As you grew,
Updated your website,

and continued crafting remarkable work.
Especially in the Coffee Space
SO HERE IS MY PROPOSAL:
I want to be a part of what you do.
I want to learn from your experimental,
refined process.
I want to help you craft thoughtful,
curious brands.
And while I know you don't need my help,
I want to show you that I would be a
valuable asset to your team.
My work aligns with your semiotic focus.
I understand the aesthetic tactics your
team employs.
I am a supportive, proactive team player.
And with more help, your team may be
able to focus on other endeavors.
I don't imagine you are seeking out a
full-time designer right now...
But if you are interested in a collaborator,
I would be honored to be included on
your short-list.
My professional experience spans across digital and traditional media, including national campaigns, CPG rebrands, marketing collateral, web design, motion design, and strategic positioning.
If this sounds interesting to you,
or if you want to meet regardless,
let’s talk and discuss the future.
I can also be reached any time at:
Thank you so much for your time,
especially if you made it this far!
Cheers, and I hope you enjoy your weekend!
Work created on this page uses brand assets that are owned by Studio Gurr or its client base. In no way do I own, nor have permission to use these assets. This is entirely a creative act aimed to impress the power couple that is Studio Gurr. Hopefully it worked.
